Plastic bags go in the garbage

Why are you using a plastic bag?  Next time, reach for a re-usable one instead.  But if you've got a plastic bag, use it as many times as you can and then place in Garbage. If your work area receives a lot of plastic bags from product shipment, contact Recycling@ucsf.edu to see if a tailored program can be arranged for your lab or office.
